Accessibility
Accessibility is a baseline for me, not polish. This website has been built from the start to work well with a keyboard, a screen reader, and a range of input devices — regardless of how you use the web.
Target standard
This website aims to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 and the underlying European standard EN 301 549.
Measures in place
- semantic HTML with a clear heading structure and landmark regions,
- full keyboard operability with a clearly visible focus indicator,
- a “skip to content” link at the start of every page,
- colour contrasts that meet at least the WCAG AA requirements,
- light and dark themes that respect your system preference,
- a responsive layout that remains usable at 200% zoom,
- support for the “reduce motion” setting (prefers-reduced-motion),
- text alternatives for images that carry meaning,
- a correctly declared page language and an accessible language switch.
Known limitations
Despite careful implementation, individual pieces of content — such as embedded project media or externally linked pages — may not meet every criterion in full. I review the site on an ongoing basis and work continuously to improve it.

Legal note
I provide this statement voluntarily. As a private portfolio, this website is neither covered by the Austrian Web Accessibility Act (Web-Zugänglichkeits-Gesetz), which applies to public sector bodies, nor required to be accessible under the Accessibility Act (Barrierefreiheitsgesetz, BaFG). I publish this information because accessibility genuinely matters to me.
